Why Analog Synths matter and hippies do not
Ok,
Here is what you Hippy's with your "It's about what you do with it maaaan" " "Make music not war" and "Who cares if it's analogue man, it only matters that it's groovey" augments don't get.....
.....Many of us have tried to find free love with V.A synths, we found they left us limp flaccid and unable to fire our creative juices deep into the being-ness of others.
In essence we agree, it's about the music you make with it, not how it works under the hood. But if you'll forgive me for sounding flippant....F$#king DUH!!! Of course it is......The problem is that through years of trail and error many of us have come to the conclusion that an Analog style synth needs to be analog or we aren't going to be able to turn on tune in or drop out. Let alone all three
THAT is shy we lay bummers when stuff like this is released, we buy synths, a lot of them and it appears not only are our dollars being taken for granted but we are having our intelligence insulted with spry new buzz words and catch-phrases that are supposed to convince us our ears are lying....it's like they are hoping we will be like: Oh No!! Don't worry guys! It's OK this time..yeah...they are using ACB technology....everything's gonna be fine"
Oh wow....looking at trhe pic it just hit me....it's a green JP8000!
