Why the Canuck's signing Rousell will NOT make them a tougher team. And put a target on the backs of Petterrson and Hughes

People need to know something about Dominic Rousell.... ..He ISN'T a feared tough guy, nobody is afraid to fight him. What they fear is his propensity for dirty and potentially injurious play. Rousell is waaay more of an Alex Burrows type,  sneaky, dirty and has no qualms about hurting you. so if you had visions of Gino Odjick rampaging down the ice, fighting the entire St. Loius Blues team, and WINNING then think again, it ain't happening. When Rousell does his thing OTHER GUYS are going to have to protect players, he's the type that will take a calm game and get people acting crazy, THAT is when people are going to start taking runs at Petterrson and Hughes, THAT is when Horvat will be forced to fight as people take shots at Boesser, and Horvat WILL fight if necessary, it earned him some respect in his rookie year, and if you notice, he isn't someone who gets picked on. Crosby did the same thing coming into the league, he let people know that if appropriate he...

NHL NEWS: EVERY CUP WINNER "TANKS" PERIOD

Tanking doesn't work, Tanking makes my bum hurt blah blah..... On and on and on...............STOP!!!! Ever since Brian Burke issued his tongue in cheek "Nobody in the NHL would EVER DREAM of tanking" speech (Probably just to crack up his friends he knew were watching) several years back, the Automatron T.V, iPhone "Excuse me while I download my opinion" crew having been weeping wailing and bemoaning the blight on the NHL known as "THE TANK JOB" It's an excellent societal biopsy on how the human psyche has been "Hacked" by media in 2018 because apparently, these people can look at facts in black and white in front of them, then listen to some talking head tell them white is back and go on a "Face-inta-twit" rant on how the city needs to turn the street lamps on at noon because it's too dark for them to see. To that group, I now speak: Tanking doesn't work huh? What in the blue hell are you talking about?!!! ...

NHL MYTH BUSTING: Lucic did NOT end Komaserik's career, he actually didn't even win the fight! Here's the truth..

Milan Lucic ended Mike Komisarek's career.....PLEASE, STOP WITH THE B.S! It wasn't Lucic......people HAVE to stop perpetuating this myth. Have you ever dislocated your shoulders? I have, both It's a chronic injury that NEVER fully goes away Your shoulders are always at risk of falling out of the sockets, I've had them fall out in my sleep as I changed positions before, it sucks......anyway.. I can see it clear as the screen in front of me, Komaserik and Lucic are fighting, and Komaserik who had the same chronic shoulder problems I do threw a punch and his arm came right out of the socket I can see the pain on his face Lucic ISN'T CONNECTING at that moment, It was the SHOULDER dislocated from the force of Komaserik throwing a punch. When it happens, you are screwed for a while, sometimes it snaps back in on its own but other times it doesn't and if it doesn't your arm is USELESS, and every time it happens, it's more likely to happ...

Vancouver Canucks: The instigator rule takes a match penalty VS. Yannik Hansen- Suspension to follow?

Jannik Hansen got knocked flat on his ass last night, and the NHL rulebook would just as soon he stayed there. Morgan Riley's vicious hit added insult to injury Saturday night as the crumbling Vancouver Canucks suffered their obligatory  loss against an NHL organization they hate to lose to. I'm always amazed at the HNIC commentators surprise though the years when Canucks/Leafs games turn ugly, I suppose the cliche is true "The eastern media doesn't watch Canucks games" because it seems every time the two teams lock horns it's the spirit of '76 all over again and one can almost here KISS and the Bee Gee's play over the P.A system and smell the spilled bottles of 99 cent beer as helmetless players brawl to the delight of the great drunken unwashed. But I digress, Ever one of the Canucks tougher players, Hansen was quick to rise and hurry off down the ice shaking off the residual effects of the clean but devastating hit. One may have thought he was s...
