As much as I can't stand Benning and do not believe he is intelligent enough to GM an NHL team and am appalled by his 90's buy-a-team approach which has been proven over and over not to work..........I don't mind this signing (But we still need to do Tanev for Reinhart) Gagner has always confused me, he's had soooo many people dump on him through out his career and I don't understand why (I think it started with the Oilers using him as a scapegoat for their failures but I don't understand why it has continued) The guy always puts up some points, I believe is a good skater (unless I'm mistaken) and though he's no tough guy, he will drop the gloves to protect his teammates (usually once or twice a year) and , he's well thought of and a good guy off the ice, plays the game hard and honest, gives you 100% of what he has..... .....Did I just describe Trevor Linden or what? Is it just the stink of the Oilers early career slander that clin...
