NHL, Vancouver Canucks: Has Benning been resigned? Do I care? And why I WILL NOT pay a dime of Louis Erikson's salary

Don't tell me Benning has been extended? That's a death sentence.

I never planned to move away from following the team, but just find myself with better things to do than watch their games.

They aren't exciting, emotional, or ballsy...they aren't sore losers, The Sedins want to keep their parking spots at the country club, the people running this thing think that what we want is "THE PLAYOFFS" and is willing to sign every Vanek and Del Zotto down-and-outer every summer in a misguided attempt to do it.

They don't get it, it's not "THE PLAYOFFS" fans want,

Hockey is cyclical, one era ends, you go down you come up, a new era with hungry new payers with new personalities come up. THOSE guys take their shot,

That whole ride is part of enjoying the story of following an NHL franchise, it's no different than a movie, you need act 1 act 2 and act 3 sometimes (all the time with this team) the story ends up a tragedy, but at the end of the day.....if it's a good entertaining tragedy, like 94' the fans DO get what they want.....ENTERTAINMENT

Ever since Benning arrived they have done nothing but try and circumvent the natural life cycle of an NHL team, artificially keeping one story going like season 2 of Twin Peaks....IT'S OVER GIVE IT UP! And trying to Frankenstein a team together to catapult it into the climax of act 3

But guess what happens when you skip the character and story development of acts 1 and 2? And try and cut right to the climax?

NOBODY CARES, Nobody knows what the story is about or is in the least bit invested in it.

I didn't watch Vanek, Del Zotto, Gagner and Erickson come up, take their bumps, live through ups and downs and ultimately grow up to the point where they were ready to do something and I actually CARED whether they win or lose.

These guys mean NOTHING to me, and it's PAINFULLY obvious that this job is only a paycheck for them,

How entertaining is it to watch a bunch of clockwatchers pretend they care? Say the same BS cliches in the media that they soon prove are lies once they step on the ice? Guys who don't even care enough to stand up for one another when their new star gets cross-checked into the boards face first?

How entertaining is it to watch a coach play juvenile mind-games with players, then get on TV and LIE to your face about it?

How much fun is it to watch two players who should have retired as legends with your team, hold up it's development by hanging on year after year for........FOR WHAT?? What do they expect to happen here?

Look, anyone can spin this anyway they want but the fact is this: The Vancouver Canucks are NO FUN, they DO NOT ENTERTAIN you when you invest your time in them, you end up watching guys try and do as little as possible to collect a fat paycheck they have no intention of earning (Loius Erikson makes me sick, That guy is thief as far as I'm concerned, he has proven to be a man of VERY LOW character, Do you think I'm going to contribute a DIME to his salary? NO WAY....YOU pay for that scumbag Aqua...not me)

Remember last season? The one before maybe? I doubt it.  Psychiatrists say that extream boredom over a prolonged period can cause long term memory loss and actual brain damage if the mind isn't positively engaged at some point. In light of that, just concentrate on getting those mashed peas into your mouth, I'll assume the answer is "Nyaha..." No biggie, there really isn't much worth remembering, if you followed the Cancuks recently you have probably considered calling up the front office and demanding to be put on the payroll, because you can see no other logical reason to subject yourself to this drudgery. With the Boss RC 202 Looper, there is both good news and bad news Bad news first? Ok... Sounds like poo 16-bit digital mud farts in my opinion going under standard with sound quality is stupid, because the people using this aren't guitar players looking to have chords back up their solos at the local unemployment office talent show , the people who buy this (me) are writing songs in a studio environment and would prefer not to have to re-track things But the good news is this: it doesn't matter, this thing is magic.
